Hi!! Long time never update my blog. The reason was : edison had his worst or most lousy period after his 6th chemo. On his 2nd day of chemo...he got no appetite at all.. vomit and diarrhea till i almost surrender with white flag. Throughout the 4days chemo...he never eat and i was stressed but was reassured by dr that it okay cos he was on drip. When his chemo ended, the next day..he was arranged for dental extraction: removed 2 teeth and filling 4 teeth and polished all his teeth. All these are done under GA. Post surgery, 6th chemo and dental issue had taken a toll on his fragile body. He got no appetite and not eating for almost 12days...survive on 100 plus only.. My heart breaks and pain soo much that tears keeping rolling down my cheek. I was super super stressed.. tis is the most stresssful period i had been through. I still remember when i admitted him to hospital bcos of dehydration...he only weighted 13.8kg...he was sooo thin. He was slightly better after discharge for 2 day hospital stay but still no appetite. Tried means and way to coax him to eat but no avail. Luckily, edmund brainwashed and tempted him with Mac nuggets and fries , pancakes, ice cream , coke and milo. I know these are unhealthy food but to me..as long as he eat or drink and have calories...it a happy news to me . Glad that this idea works but he only have appetite for Mac for Every meal....omgosh!! Finally he put on some weight ( 15kg) before his harvest stemcell procedures. I am really not looking forward for his 7th chemo cos same drugs and lousy period will start all over again. Arrgghh!!! In the name of Jesus, i command no sides effects on edison for his 7th chemo..he will tolerate well !! AMEN .
