For a chemo patient, a trip to Universal Studio is almost impossible. This is what i think so cos afraid of Infection and Germs. BUT We DID it!! Yesterday ( thursday 27th ) , we brought karen and edison for a 4 hours fun at Universal Studio...they love it to the max !! As parents, seeing the joys of their face especially edison melts our hearts .

YES!! edison is discharge on sunday morning . When i reached the hospital to fetch him, he was very happy and told me dr chui use his magic hands to take out his tubes without any pain (cos he was on 15min sedation). And i was very surprise when he say i miss u and give flying kisses to the strict nurse ( dr chui nurse who need to act strict cos she wan him to obey him to do the walking exercise- throughout his stay, he keep saying he dun miss and dun like her but on the last day upon discharge, he say he miss and muack her) ...children are really sweet and innocent and bear no grudges. That the magic of being kids and this magic will slowly fades off as u grow up....haiz !! Praise God ,edison really recover well after surgery. I was told to be expected him to get LS maybe 8-10 times per day and need to give him med to control. Till now after discharge, i had not fed him med cos he did pass motion ard 3 times but not LS and just soft stool. He did complain of stomach pain whever he eat/drink ( this is expected) but i still manage to feed him. All this is impossible without God miracle recovery healing. Thks u God !! We are planning for next  weekend outing to zoo with his fav cousin Amanda and he really looking forward! Wan to give him a memorable outing before his 6th chemo to boost up his morale! Pray God for good weather on this coming weekend!

Post surgery

Yes !! The surgery is successful. Was told by the surgeon he had removed all tumor he can see. PRAISE GOD!! The surgery is expected to be 10-12 hours or maybe longer . But it was all done in 10hours and only use 1pkt of blood ( standby 3pkt). And he was warded to normal ward after the surgery...NO ICU or High Depency...Thks u God !! All this is impossible without u ard !! I am super thrilled when he was pushed out of theatre room. The next day he had to start walking exercise.. 3 times per day and 10 laps along the super long corridor...purpose is for the intestine to go bk to it original position and to prevent complication. I am impressed with child recovery and pain therashold. He was holding his tears and obedient follow the instruction. On and off he will complain of stomach pain ( the scar on his tummy is super long ) and tears flow down his eyes.. me super heartpain...but me had to be positive and cannot shed fears and tears in front of him..cos he need our positive thinking. Me hold bk my tears and cast away my fear in the name of Jesus...and keep encouraging him and finished our 10laps walking. This walking therapy  continue on the next and next day . And Yes !! He did it everyday 3 times per day and 10 laps without fails. Nurse told us if everything goes well... he can be discharge on sat instead of sun. Praise God !!

Pre-Surgery day

Now is 18th feb 3am. In another 5hours more..edison is going for his 10-12hours surgery. I am looking forward ...cos he can say Final GoodBye to his stomach devil. Friends have been asking me am i ok? No worries, i am perfectly ok!! Cos i know edison is in good hands with Dr Chui and i am confident this surgery is a successful one cos Jesus will be in the theatre room with him and give and guide wisdom to the surgeon !! Looking bk...God had never fails me. Edison tolerate well for the past 5 chemo and he Gained weight. Today his health is in tip top condition for the surgery. Praise God!! Edison had matured over these past 4 months. He is no longer the cranky boy. He understand he is sick and he got the awesome  fighting spirits to win the devils. Today his dad told him he going for surgery tmr and he asked his dad " what is surgery" and his dad explained that Dr Chui got magic hands and he will cut his stomach and take out the devils and sew it bk. Immediately he say " Oh !! Same like mei mei ( karen undergo open heart surgery when she 10months and got a scar on her chest) and he say Ok! Then my scar will be on my stomach! Such an sweet innocent boy !! Good nite everyone and will update once he out from theatre room 😊 Do continue to pray for him

CT scan after 5th chemo

Good morning!! Waking up in the early morning cos preparing to admit to hospital for his CT scan at 10am later. My prayer for today:  In the name of Jesus, guide and give the wisdom of the doc doing IV line for edison later and 1st insertion will be the perfect one! No side effects from the CT scan and sedation. God, i know u love edison more than i do and i laid my hands on him and asking in the name of Jesus..Healed him ! Edison bone marrow is cleared and No Cancerous cell can be found and his tumor is gone. He is healed!

i am devastated today

Tdy i had brought edison for his routine checkup with his oncology. Edison bone marrow result after his 4th chemo is still unfavourable. Was told his bone marrow still have a lot cancerous cells. Edison will still proceed for his upcoming long surgery on 18th feb to resect his tumor. But after the surgery, he still have to continue his chemo for unconfirmed round - chemo till his bone marrow is cleared so that doc can do harvesting and prepare for his stem cells transplant. Was also told his progress after 5 round of chemo is just average. I am devastated upon hearing it. Many chemo = more toxin into his body = more late side effects. Y my poor little boy need to undergo soo much sufferings. I really dun know how to pray for him. I really wan him to be cancer free. Just 20mins ago, i goggle pastor joseph prince youtube - how to pray powerful prayers -16 june 2013. I feel peace after hearing his sermons. Once again..i know how to pray for my son. Immediately i went to edison bedside and pray " God, i need ur help now. I really dun know what wrong with my son. But i know u love him more than i love him. I'm going to laid my hands and asking u  in Jesus name. HEALED HIM! Now i know..my prayers dun need to be very very long and too complicated and always repeating. A simple prayer is powerful enuff. From this day onwards and every nite before i sleep : I will always laid hands on edison and say this short and simple prayers . Good nite everyone and no worries abt me... i am bk to my positive again!!!
